159th Annual International Exhibition

The 159th Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society will be held April 7 – May 1, 2026, at the Salmagundi Club in NYC. The list of accepted artists can be viewed here. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday, April 7th from 6-8 pm. There will be a Watercolor Evening demonstration by Stephen Quiller, AWS, D.F., on Thursday, April 30th at 6 pm. The demo will be available both live and through Zoom.

Submissions to the 159th Exhibition opened on Tuesday, September 2, and closed Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at noon EST. Notifications were sent on December 19th, 2025.

Submissions to the Annual International Exhibition are open to artists worldwide, both member and non-member. If you are not a member and are interested in joining, see membership page here. Though submissions are closed, the prospectus may still be viewed below:
